Clemson's Isaiah Battle Ejected After Delivering Uppercut During Game

And we thought the Detroit Lions had discipline problems. Psh.
Clemson left tackle Isaiah Battle brought his arm back and punched North Carolina State defensive back Jarvis Byrd under the helmet after a play in Thursday's game. Coach Dabo Sweeney took Battle out of the game, and officials ejected him.
Given the ferocity and obvious intention of the blow, and given Battle's obvious status as the instigator of the physical part of whatever confrontation occurred, it would not be at all surprising if Battle is later suspended by the ACC.
