Catch The Hot Rods And Custom Cars This Weekend
DETROIT (WWJ) - One of the greatest hot rod shows in America is taking place in downtown Detroit this weekend. Autorama has rolled into Cobo Center with over a thousand vehicles to see. Spokesman Linda Ashley compares Autorama to another summer car show.
"It's really the indoor Woodward Dream Cruise, these cars just sparkle, they are every color in the rainbow and there are just fabulous to see it's really something else," say Ashley.
It's one of the greatest hot-rod shows in the county and in addition to hot rods there are custom cars and every type of hot-wheel, it's kind of a grown up hot-wheel. Everything you see in hot-wheel mini-cars you'll see right there on the floor," Ashley says.
The show runs till 10 p.m Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $18 for adults and children 6-12 pay $5.
