SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - College and pro football teams have hit the gridiron and two of the largest cable television providers are offering a variety of platforms to keep up with all the action.
AT&T U-verse is a carrier of Big Ten Network, Longhorn Network, Pac-12 Network and SEC Network. Additionally, AT&T offers interactive TV apps for SEC Network and Pac-12 Network with scores, stats, schedules and news feeds on subscriber's television screens by hitting the "Go Interactive" on TV remotes.
The provider also offers up to four games on the same screen and live content from ESPN, Longhorn Network, NBC Sports, Pac-12 and SEC Network is available on the U-verse App. The U-verse App is available on more than 30 devices, including the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, HDX and Fire phones.
Comcast also has added SEC Network, and according to a blog post, subscribers can watch live football games at home or on the go from ESPN's network line-up (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beater, SEC Network, SEC Network +), Fox Sports 1, Big Ten Network, Pac-12 Network and NBC Sports Network.
According to the post, Comcast customers will be able to stream nearly 50 live games per week.
