Brandon Inge To Start Rehab Assignment
Brandon Inge who was put on the 15-day DL for mono will start his rehab stint tonight with Toledo. Inge is expected to DH after "a long day of travel" and will most likely play 3rd tomorrow. The Mud Hens will play 4 against Louisville and then 2 in Columbus all while the Tigers are playing interleague play on the west coast against the Rockies and Dodgers. If all goes well Inge will likely return to the Tigers June 24th against the Diamondbacks. This is the second time Inge has had mono, he had it when he was at Virginia Commonwealth. Inge claims the mono was worse this time then when he was in college.
