The wedding is planned and invitations have been sent out. The big day is almost here and so is the honeymoon. Where you go on your honeymoon greatly depends upon both you and your fiance's preferences. When planning your honeymoon, sit down and determine where you both would like to go. Doing something you both enjoy will turn an ordinary vacation getaway into the most romantic honeymoon possible.

There are many destinations throughout the country where couples can go to enjoy their honeymoon. Some destinations are tropical and secluded, while others will put you close to cultural and historical sites. Here are some of the most romantic cities couples visit for their honeymoon:

Aspen, Colorado

Create new memories in this small town in Colorado. In Aspen, couples can go skiing or just sit back and enjoy the view. This area offers a variety of lodges where couples can retreat to and enjoy time cuddling by the fire.

Charleston, South Carolina
