Sweetwater Tavern is located in downtown Detroit, close to the Ren Cen, Ford Field, and Comerica Park. They provide shuttle buses to Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings games, as well as concert events downtown. Sweetwater's owner, Jeffrey Cain, received his "secret" recipe for chicken wings from his grandmother, and his restaurant is known for its wings. However, Cain also offers a great pulled pork sandwich on his menu called "The Big Pig," which mixes the pulled pork with Sweetwater's special sauce, served on a Kaiser roll. It's served with a slice of onion and coleslaw and offers a sweet, barbecue taste.
