Apple Annie's has several locations: this one (Clinton Twp.) and one in Roseville, as well as a sister store, Friar Tuck's, in Warren. The store is a restaurant plus a bakery and has a wide variety of cookies, including low-calories treats for those who are trying to diet (reduced-fat and sugar-free cookies). The restaurant is also very well-known for its soup, as it was voted Top 5 in Michigan for two years in a row. So it might be worth picking up a cup for lunch or dinner with your dessert. The restaurant and bakery is open every day of the week from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

You can find Eskimo Jack's inside The Bagel Factory on 12 Mile near Telegraph. Ice cream fans can rejoice because the store sells ice cream cookie sandwiches, which make for a great treat in the summer (or really anytime, if you love ice cream!). Josh Charlip, the founder and president of Eskimo Jack's, started the store because he was "obsessed with cookies" while growing up, and wanted to "rid the world of cardboard cookies and flavorless ice cream." If you just want regular cookies, the store has that too, with flavors ranging from double chocolate with peanut butter chips to white chocolate and dried cherries. But they also make your more standard chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and more. The store offers party rentals (party carts and its ice cream truck) if you're in need for an occasion.
