Harrison Twp, MI 48045-2801

Metro Beach
Metro Beach is a great place to spend the day, or tie up for the weekend to save some gas money. This destination is especially popular early and late in the boating season, when the weather isn't conducive to getting in the water. Generally there are ample wells available for rent, as well as space on the seawall. Bring your grill, some beach chairs and settle in. Day and overnight passes are available when you dock, and if you need to launch, Metro Beach offers facilities for you to splash your vessel as well.
Tin Fish Resort

Fair Haven, MI 48023

Tin Fish Resort
During the summer, you can enjoy a civilized meal at Tin Fish, while basking in the beauty of Lake St. Clair. Some say this restaurant, with its multi-tiered deck, has the best views on the lake. If you want to kick it up a notch, check out the Wednesday night Tiki parties. These events include live music and a festive group of boaters kicking back by the water. Dockage is limited, so you may have to wait for a spot at peak times.
Harsens Island
If you are exploring the lake by boat and haven't done so before, take a cruise around Harsens Island. You will find an amazing array of architecture, from tiny cottages to stunning year-round homes. Chances are good you'll pass a freighter along the way, always a sight to behold. Hungry? Brown's is a popular spot for a burger and beer. For those of you who will be coming by car, you will need to take the ferry to the island. The ferry ride alone can be fun for kids and adults alike. Since you have wheels, you may want to grab a bite at the Schoolhouse Grille, located in an authentic two-room schoolhouse that the owners painstakingly renovated.
