Authorities: Woman Dies After Accidental Shooting
ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a 55-year-old woman has died after apparently accidentally shooting herself in the head in southwestern Michigan.
The St. Joseph Public Safety Department says Christina Bond died at Bronson Hospital after being transported there following Thursday's shooting.
The department says the gunshot wound to her eye appeared to be accidentally self-inflicted. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
The Associated Press sent a message Friday morning seeking additional information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting to the public safety director.
