Appia Announces New SIP Trunking Bundles

Traverse City-based Appia Communications, a leading provider of managed communications and network services to companies and organizations, released new SIP (session Internet protocol) trunking service bundles to simplify implementation of business Voice Over Internet Protocol for customer phone systems.

SIP trunking is used to connect to customer phone systems so they can make and receive calls using the public Internet or Appia's own directly connected access. These SIP trunking bundles will work with all Appia certified Internet enabled telephone systems and most traditional business telephone systems.

Appia customers can choose a suitable service bundle to meet their needs with five different plans ranging from small offices to medium enterprises.

In addition, standard and enhanced packages are available. The standard packages include telephone numbers, call paths, toll free service, long distance minutes, and unlimited local calling while the enhanced packages add Appia's Meet-Me audio conferencing service and additional long distance minutes for power users.

"We are committed to helping customers make the transition to SIP trunking as easy as possible," said Matt Siemens, vice president of marketing and direct sales for Appia Communications. "Recognizing that changing phone services is an important decision, our new bundles offer customers a clear choice with a robust set of features for a great price."

The Appia SIP bundles are not a one-size fits all solution. Customers can add features easily. Additional phone numbers, extra call paths, and additional long distance or toll-free minutes are all available.
