Abstract Submission Deadline Near For Stem Cell Conference

ROCHESTER -- This Wednesday, Aug. 15 is the early registration and abstract submission deadline for the 2nd Midwest Conference on Stem Cell Biology and Therapy, scheduled for Oct. 5-7 at Oakland University in Rochester.

The conference will address the latest advances in umbilical cord blood, embryonic, and adult stem cells, tissue engineering, therapeutic applications, drug design & discovery, as well as ethical and regulatory issues.

More than 60 leading experts in the field have agreed or submitted abstracts to make presentations at the conference. The anticipated participants include scientists and clinicians from academia, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, research organizations, and regulatory agencies.

Early registration through Aug. 15 is $150 for students and $300 for professionals. After that, it's $175 and $350 respectively. Late registration after Sept. 1 is $200 and $400 respectively.
