5-Number Match On Powerball Ticket Equals Cool Million For One Ticket Holder

PLYMOUTH (WWJ) - Michigan has another big lottery ticket winner. A single ticket matched five of the Powerball numbers drawn Friday night - the winner was sold at the Hiller's Market on Haggerty Road in Plymouth.

"I heard people talking about it - the customers and that - I went on-line and investigated it, and sure enough it does say on there that the ticket was sold on a Thursday of last week," said Hiller's Manager Brian Colby.

Colby said he came into the store Sunday morning and employees were crowded around the desk talking about the big winning ticket.

He says this could translate into more business for Hiller's -- with superstitious lottery players switching to his store for a chance to win big.  By the way, the winning numbers, 14, 26, 41, 55, 59, the Powerball number was 01.

So far the winner has not come forward to claim the prize which should be worth a million dollars.

This is the second time in two weeks a Michigander has won big -- the world is also awaiting news on who exactly won the $337 million Powerball ticket sold last week at a Sunoco on Main Street in Lapeer. The winner hasn't yet come forward.
