Tigers Make Changes After White Sox Loss
DETROIT (WWJ) - After the Tigers 8-2 home loss to the Chicago White Sox Friday night, the team optioned infielder Danny Worth and right handed relief pitcher Ryan Perry to Triple-A Toledo.
And to fill out the roster, the club activated right handed relief pitcher Al Alburquerque and infielder Carlos Guillen from the disabled list.
Guillen will be in the starting lineup at second base for the Tigers on Saturday He has not played this season with Detroit after having knee surgery during the off-season. Alburquerque was sidelined for two weeks with inflammation in the right flexor forearm mass.
