16-Year-Old Detroit Boy Missing Since Mid-November

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police and a Detroit family are looking for tips from the public to help bring a missing teen home safe.

Malik Watters, 16, was last seen by his father when as the dad left their Detroit home at around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19.  When he returned to the house at around 8:30 p.m., Malik was gone — along with his PlayStation video game system and some clothing.

Malik is described as a black male, around 6 feet tall and 130 lbs. with a light brown complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a blue shirt, black gym shoes and a black Nike brand winter coat.

Police say Malik is believed to be in good physical and mental condition and has never run away prior to this incident.

Anyone who may have seen this missing teen or who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-5940.
