10 Million Credit Card Users May Be Victims Of Massive Breach Of Security
DETROIT (WWJ) - MasterCard and Visa say they have notified issuers of its credit cards of a potentially "massive" breach of the security with customer accounts that could involved more than 10 million card numbers.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that a third party processor, Global Payments, is the vendor that was compromised.
The extent of the breach and what kind of information was compromised has not been confirmed.
