One owner of funeral home in Penrose returned to Colorado for trial
Carie Hallford, who along with her husband Jon Hallford, owned the Return to Nature Funeral Home in Penrose. Carie was brought to El Paso County Tuesday to await trial for their alleged mishandling of bodies at the funeral home. They were arrested in Oklahoma and face charges including abuse of a corpse and fraud.
