Aurora swears in new police chief as community leaders question impact of inconsistent police leader
Former Police Chief Art Acevedo said Tuesday that he was reneging on a job he initially accepted in Austin the day after Heather Morris was sworn in as the department's new chief. But the local branch of the NAACP says the inconsistency of having five police chiefs in as many years makes progress with community relations difficult to achieve.
