Denver has a lot to offer when it comes to these trucks. The next time you spot one of these brightly colored mobile restaurants parked on the street corner, don't simply dismiss it and walk away because you may just be missing out on some of the best food in town.

Hey PB&J
(303) 929-2752

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are not just for kids anymore. The great minds behind this huge purple food truck have worked up a menu that even the most finicky chefs would be proud to serve. Just about everything is homemade, that includes its peanut, almond, pecan and cashew nut butters as well as homemade wild jams and preserves. The menu includes sweet treats like Cookies & Cream, a peanut butter, Nutella, Oreo and vanilla cream concoction that is a truly decadent indulgence. There are also savory items like the Thai, which has a spicy peanut butter with orange marmalade, coconut, fresh basil and crush peanuts. All the sandwiches are grilled to perfection on fresh, locally baked bread.

Still Smokin
(720) 300-4010

If you are hungry for some classic Southern grilled delights, then this is the truck for you. Still Smokin's big black truck has an aroma that you can smell for miles, drawing you in like one of those classic cartoon hands. The menu has all of the wonderful treats you'd expect like a full rack of ribs or chicken and waffles topped with sweet peppers and chocolate jalapeno barbecue sauce. Check out the Ultimate Porker for a classic pulled pork sandwich with bacon and sausage on a house roll or the Pineapple Express Shrimp Skewers with a sweet pina colada sauce. For classic Mississippi-style barbecue, Still Smokin is the truck to find.

Manna From Heaven

This brightly colored truck is hard to miss and the amazing food being cooked up inside is worth tracking this truck down. You'll enjoy a variety of fresh-baked baguettes, tortillas, flatbreads and noodles all served up with a Vietnamese twist. There is a reason this truck has won Best Food Truck awards year after year, and it's because of these inspired creations. Dine on red wine teriyaki steak, citrus-herb chicken or spiced pork. Or check out the classic Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches featuring freshly baked bolillo rolls or the amazing manna rolls with portobello mushrooms, pickled carrots, red cabbage, avocado and more all served with signature dipping sauces.

Pinche Tacos
(720) 475-1337

If you've been to one of the two brick and mortar Pinche Tacos locations, you already know just how amazing these traditional street tacos with a modern twist can be. However, it all started with the Pinche Tacos Truck, bringing locally made corn tortillas filled with amazing ingredients to a neighborhood near you. If you've never had these street tacos, then you are really in for a treat. Served up nice and fresh with lots of amazing toppings like fried shrimp, scallops, avocado crema, braised pork belly, candied garlic, beef tongue, cotija cheese or grilled shiitake mushrooms, there is a huge variety to sample. Order at least two or three; each comes with two tortillas so you can split up the insides and make these yummy bites last even longer. Once you try Pinche Tacos, you'll be craving it again and again.

Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs
(720) 746-9355

The Biker Jim's Food Truck is actually a cart and it's located just across 16th Street Mall from the Daniels & Fisher Tower on Arapahoe. If you haven't stopped by this unassuming little cart, you may not realize just what you are missing. These aren't your mother's boiled hot dogs in cold store-bought buns. These are truly gourmet concoctions with ingredients like Alaskan reindeer sausage, elk cheddar brats, southwest buffalo and wild boar sausage. Make sure to stop by on a Wednesday if you are in the mood to try something new, as Jim cooks up something different every week. He's offered menu items like Hungarian sausages, rattlesnake, pheasant and duck, so it's a little different every time you stop by. Also, though it's not always on the menu, if you spot Jim's home-made cheesecake at the truck, make sure to order a slice or two. It's an amazing treat that you can't find anywhere else.
