Study Shows TV Can Cause Sleeping Problems For Preschoolers
The American Academy of Pediatrics said television can cause problems sleeping for preschoolers. The academy already recommends children under two should not watch any TV. This study examines problems for kids between the ages of three and five.
CBS4 Medial Editor Dr. Dave Hnida took a closer look at this study. Watch his report below.
The study found children who watched television after 7 p.m. had difficulty sleeping. Watching violent shows anytime, even just cartoon violence, also made it tough for them to sleep.
Find out what is violent and what isn't at this website, commonsensemedia.org which offers a rating and description of what shows and games your child is watching.
