Rhonda Kubiak Excited To Return To Colorado
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The wife of new Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak's says moving back to Colorado is like coming home.
Rhonda Kubiak and her husband were newlyweds in this state and their three sons were born and raised here.
Even so, she told CBS4's Suzanne McCarroll that after Kubiak's recent health problems, she can't help but worry a little bit about her husband.
"The NFL is just so much pressure -- you guys know, you saw how it played out in Houston with his health and everything, but you know, it's what they do. It's what he loves. It's his passion. He's amazing. I'm so proud to watch him every Sunday," Rhonda said. "It just brings me and my family and his my and my mom so much joy to watch him at his best. And how can you deny him that?"
McCarroll asked "Did you have any reservations about this position in Colorado?"
"Zero," Rhonda said. "It's a no-brainer. It's just like Kube said. It's home."
One of the Kubiak's sons is an intern for the Broncos organization.
Rhonda says she's anxious to reconnect with old friends here.
