Police Search For Suspect In Painkiller Robbery At Walgreens

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are trying to track down a man who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy for prescription painkillers.

It happened at 8 p.m. on Jan. 20 at the Walgreens at 2975 N. Federal Blvd. The man entered the store and then passed a note to the pharmacist, demanding Oxycontin.

After he got the drug, he ran away and was last seen going south on Federal Blvd.

The robber is described as a Hispanic man, 22-29 years old, 5'2"-5'5" tall, 130 pounds with a slim build. He was wearing a dark ski cap and a scarf on his face.

Denver Police have released photos of the suspect from Walgreens surveillance video in hopes that someone will recognize him.
