Police Recruits Prepare For Polar Plunge
DENVER (CBS4)- Some Denver Police Department recruits took advantage of the warm weather on Friday to train for a special event-- they took a dive into icy water for the upcoming Polar Plunge.
Four recruits dunked into the frigid cold tub of water for Special Olympics Colorado.
Last year the Denver Police Department raised $46,000 for the organization.
This year, the recruits hope to raise more money for the event which is Feb. 25 and hosted by the Denver Zoo.
