Operations Returning To Normal At Denver Airport

DENVER (AP) -- Operations are getting back to normal at Denver International Airport following a storm that brought about 10 inches of snow to the city.

There were no significant flight delays or cancellations at the airport on Friday, the busiest day of the holiday travel week.

However, airport officials say passengers flying out of the airport in the morning will still have deicing delays of about 25 minutes after leaving their gates.

About 100 flights were canceled at the airport on Thursday because of the snow. Most of those were commuter flights to rural or mountain towns and represented about 6 percent of flight operations for the day.
