New Medical Marijuana Rules In Effect Across Colorado
DENVER (CBS4)- New medical marijuana regulations took effect across Colorado on Friday.
Those rules include better security at dispensaries, including security cameras. Grow operations will need surveillance cameras as part of what's called a "seed to sale" tracking system.
Pot shops must close by 8 p.m. Everyone who works in the marijuana industry must register with the state.
Industry groups have filed a lawsuit over some of the rules they claim will hurt patients' access to medical marijuana. They are not fighting new regulations for business owners.
