Minor League Baseball Team Considered For Metro Area
LONE TREE, Colo. (CBS4)-- The Colorado Rockies may not be the only baseball team in town. The City of Lone Tree and some business leaders are considering bringing a minor league ball team to the south metro area.
A developer is looking at a piece of land near I-25 and Lincoln for the possible stadium.
The idea is just being tossed around right now, but it's generating some buzz among baseball fans practicing their swing in the batting cages.
The City of Lone Tree has put together an online survey to gauge public interest in a minor league ballpark.
