More Thunderstorms Possible This Week

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) -

After a warm and mostly sunny weekend, Memorial Day Monday brought us severe weather to many areas in Colorado. Denver had two Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for storms that produced large hail and very heavy rainfall.

Cloudy skies early in the day, did help prevent us from warming too much. The storms could have been way worse had it been a very sunny day.

Skies will clear late night and we should start Tuesday with sunny skies and temperatures will head into the mid 70s. A few more severe storms are possible, especially for the eastern plains. Hail and wind will be the biggest threats.

A few more storms possible on Wednesday before we head to dry and hot weather to end the work week. Temperatures will climb back to the low 90s by Thursday.
