Toasty Temperatures Heading Into The Weekend
DENVER (CBS4) -
After a stormy few days, we calmed down and raced to the low 90s in Denver. We were warm and sunny all day long! A nice change from the severe storms we've seen since Monday.
Friday will also be a hot and sunny day with highs climbing back to the low 90s with more sunshine. We'll also be a bit windy on Friday.
Fire danger will be high once again for much of western and southern Colorado. Red Flag Warnings will start at 10:00 am for those areas.
A little cooler thanks to a dry cold front that will pass through on Friday. Highs will fall to the upper 70s, but skies stay sunny.
We also have one small chance for thunderstorms in the metro area late Sunday. Otherwise we're dry through much of next week.
