More Storms Possible This Weekend
DENVER (CBS4) -
A stormy Friday afternoon for much of eastern Colorado. A few storms did pop and turn severe, bringing large hail and damaging winds to a few areas. We even had a Tornado Warning just south of Lamar. A few rain showers moved through Denver, along with a gusty storm near DIA.
Saturday will be a mostly sunny, breezy, and warm day for most of us. Winds will be especially strong on the western and southern parts of the state, which means high fire danger. We will have Red Flag Warning for much of western Colorado on Saturday. Please be extra careful if you're outdoors on Saturday.
Highs will be in the upper 80s across the Front Range.
Sunday, there will be a better chance for rain and storms. Highs will drop to the mid 70s.
