Cold Front Will Move Our Temperature Closer to "Normal"

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - More record heat to end a very warm October - Denver tied the 1991 record high on Monday when we reached 79 degrees officially at the airport. The morning low was a very mild 52 degrees - and that is 20 degrees above normal! October 2016 ended up tied for the second warmest October ever! Now a cool front will slide through the state and start to drop out high temperatures closer to normal for this time of year. Expect partly cloudy skies on Tuesday with a high in the upper 60s; cooler still on Wednesday with a high right around 60..and the normal high for Wednesday is 59 degrees.

The cooling doesn't last long. Thursday the high gets back into the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies and back to around 70 degrees for Friday. The weekend should stay pleasant and dry with highs in the mid 60s on Saturday, upper 60s on Sunday.
