Out of the Chill Through the Weekend and Into Next Week

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Friday saw more sunshine and temperatures that finally reached just into the 40s: 40 officially at DIA and 42 degrees downtown. 44 degrees is normal for this time of year.

More of this warm and dry trend over the next several day as our winter weather takes an extended break, and that means for the entire state - dry everywhere even the high country. For Denver, Saturday should see partly sunny skies and a high a few degrees above normal - into the mid to upper 40s.
Even milder to end our weekend as Sunday warms into the low 50s. As we begin next week Monday could get near the 60 degree mark with plenty of sunshine. Partly cloudy and low 50s for Tuesday and Wednesday and staying dry, not only for Denver and the east, but for the high country and west as well.
