Horse Rescued From Septic Tank
ELIZABETH, Colo. (CBS4)- A horse was rescued after falling through an unprotected septic tank near Elizabeth on Tuesday morning.
Elbert County Sheriff's deputies and crews from Road and Bridge were able to pull the horse out of the tank.
The animal was taken to Iron Horse Medical and Surgical Vets who checked him out. Besides a few bumps and bruises the horse is expected to be okay.
