Glider Makes Emergency Landing In Boulder Church Parking Lot

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A man flying a home-built glider escaped injury after making an emergency landing in a church parking lot in Boulder on Friday.

Pilot Justin Riley, 27, told deputies he ran out of gas above the City on the Hill Church near north 75th Avenue and Arapahoe Road.

Riley said he put the glider down before he completely lost power.

There was no damage to the glider or church.

The National Transportation Safety Board will conduct its own investigation of the incident.
