Man Dies After Being Hit By Car While Running Across Federal Boulevard, Police Say
DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado State Patrol responded to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian. It happened Saturday night near Federal Boulevard and 66th Avenue.
A 35-year-old man tried to run across the street and was hit, police say. He died at the hospital.
Investigators say the 25-year-old driver was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Neither the driver or victim have been identified. State Patrol officials remind Coloradans to use crosswalks.
