DENVER (CBS4) - The former owner of a computer recycling company in Englewood will be going to prison for 30 months.

A U.S. District Court judge sentenced Brandon Richter, 38, of Highlands Ranch, on Tuesday on fraud and international crime charges.

The CBS program 60 Minutes exposed his company Executive Recycling's practices in 2008. Those crimes included sending electronic waste to Hong Kong where it was illegally dumped.

Along with prison time, Richter will also have to pay $77,000 in fines and restitution.

The company was also ordered to pay $4.5 million in fines.

Earlier this month an executive with the company, Tor Olson, of Parker, was given a 14 month prison sentence for his role in the criminal behavior.
