Denver Veterans Get New Vehicles Thanks To Progressive Insurance Program
DENVER (CBS4) - Two Denver military families in need were handed the keys to their very own newly refurbished SUVs.
The gifts were part of a program by Progressive Insurance to give back to the men and women who've served the country.
"It's still all pretty surreal, I'm going to drive away from here with a brand new vehicle by this awesome company," veteran James Sides said. "I don't' think it's totally sunk in yet until I get home and it's in my driveway."
Sides and Shellie Medich were just two of 130 vets nationwide given the special honor on Veterans Day.
