Dawg Nation Hockey Tournament Helps Players In Need
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - A three-day hockey tournament this weekend benefits adult players who have suffered catastrophic injuries or illnesses.
The tournament will give close to $50,000 to four players to assist them with their medical bills, says Martin Richardson, who is with the Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation.
"It helped me out a lot. I had my 14th surgery a week ago, so this amount is going to help to pay off that medical," player Christina Montoya told CBS4.
