Sen. Gardner Introduces Bill To Allow DIA To Relocate Security Checkpoints
WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS4) - Colorado U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner has introduced legislation at the nation's capital that he hopes will cut airport security waits.
On Wednesday Gardner introduced the Screen Fast Act. The bill would create a pilot program to allow Denver International Airport to relocate its security lines.
The program would be tested at DIA and 28 other airports.
DIA is considering moving the security checkpoints upstairs to the check-in area.
