Colorado Rapids Trade Thompson To Chicago Fire
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado Rapids have traded midfielder Wells Thompson to the Chicago Fire for a conditional draft pick.
Thompson had one assist in 17 matches for the Rapids this year.
He joined the Rapids in 2010 through a trade with the New England Revolution and was part of the Rapids team that won the 2010 MLS Cup.
