Colorado Drivers Rank Among The Worst
DENVER (CBS4) - If you hate your fellow Coloradans when it comes to driving, there could be a good reason why.
Data from the Federal Highway Administration, compiled by QuoteWizard, ranks Colorado as the eighth-worst state for drivers.
"To quantify overall driver standards for comparison, we weighted various incident counts for each state with its occurrence percentage," QuoteWizard posted on their site. "The final rankings are a sum of weighted means which calculated from total accidents, speeding tickets, DUI, citations, and fatalities.
Utah ranks as the worst state for drivers.
From second to seventh, also ahead of Colorado, are California, Virginia, Maine, Nebraska, South Carolina, and North Dakota.
Washington and Arizona round out the top ten.
