Car Breaks Out In Flames After Collision
ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A car that crashed into a Jeep head-on caught fire before daybreak on Wednesday and sent up a large amount of smoke.
The flames broke out after the two-car collision on Lowell Boulevard near the intersection with 64th Avenue. Firefighters worked to quickly put the flames out at 6:45 a.m.
The two people inside the car were able to escape with only minor injuries. The Jeep's driver was more seriously injured.
Witnesses told CBS4 they believe the driver of the car that caught fire strayed out of its lane and struck the Jeep which was heading the opposite direction.
