Broncos Trail Colts 17-7 At The Half, Offense Back To Sputtering
INDIANAPOLIS (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Denver Broncos trail the Indianapolis Colts 17-7 at halftime after Omar Bolden returned a punt for a touchdown with no time left on the clock.
Peyton Manning and company just couldn't seem to get the offense going against the Colts in the first half.
Former Broncos safety Mike Adams intercepted Manning on the Broncos' first possession of the second quarter and was injured on the play. That led to another Colts touchdown as Andrew Luck and Indianapolis marched down the first making the Broncos defense look like something other than the best in the league.
Bolden's punt return for a touchdown was the seventh-longest punt return in team history and the first touchdown of Bolden's career.
