Bobcat Spotted Peering Into Sand Dunes Visitor Center

GREAT SAND DUNES NATIONAL PARK AND PRESERVE, Colo. (CBS4) - With cold weather moving in,  it looks like everyone is trying to find a place to keep warm.

Even a young bobcat down in the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.

The kitten was spotted peering through a window at their visitor center, which posted photos to their national park's Facebook page on Monday.

"Perhaps he/she was seeking the same thing many of us do - some warmth on a winter morning," they posted. "Recent lows have been in the single digits F at the Visitor Center, while lows in [nearby] Alamosa are dropping below zero F."

While bobcats do call the park home, they're not one of the more commonly seen mammals.
