Berthoud To Begin Spraying To Prevent West Nile Virus
BERTHOUD, Colo. (CBS4)- The Town of Berthoud will begin spraying on Monday evening to prevent West Nile virus.
Colorado Mosquito Control sprayed last week in Fort Collins to keep the potentially deadly virus under control.
The agency said it has seen an increase in mosquitoes infected with West Nile virus in Larimer, Boulder and Weld Counties.
The spraying in Berthoud will happen Monday and Tuesday between 8 p.m. and midnight.
People living in Berthoud should keep their windows and doors closed during the spraying and for about an hour afterwards.
