Baby Zebra Is Denver Zoo's First 2015 Birth
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Zoo welcomed its first arrival of 2015 early Thursday morning when a baby zebra was born.
The mother, Crestone, and the foal are doing fine and bonding inside a warm barn during the cold snap. The zoo said veterinarians haven't checked to see whether the foal is a male or female.
The zoo is planning a naming contest that it will announce soon on Facebook.
