Car Crashes Into Amy's Donuts When Driver Mistakes Gas For Brake Pedal
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Amy's Donuts in Colorado Springs is closed until further notice, despite the shop's popularity. A car crashed into the building Tuesday morning.
Colorado Springs police said no people or donuts were hurt at the shop off East Fountain Boulevard and South Circle Drive.
Police said the driver "pulled in and hit the gas instead of the brakes and ended up inside the building."
The driver will be cited for careless driving.
