3 More Suspects Arrested In Connection With Light Rail Station Attack

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver have arrested three more people in connection with a beating and robbery at a light rail station.

Detectives had already made one arrest in the case. They tracked down Daishawn Matthews thanks to video captured by surveillance cameras.

Police believe Matthews, 18, was one of a group that attacked a 23-year-old man on Sept. 18 at the Downing Light Rail Station at 30th and Downing.

The victim said the group of men stole his wallet with $600 inside before they beat him and left him unconscious.

A teenage boy was arrested on Tuesday on a probation violation. A teenage girl turned herself in on Thursday.

Also this week another teenage boy was linked to the crime.

Detectives are still searching for one other suspect.
