U.S. evaluates response from Hamas as Gaza ceasefire talks ramp up

Secretary of state Antony Blinken is in Qatar as the U.S. continues to work with mediators. A spokesman for Hamas says they want changes to the proposal which include a permanent end to fighting and full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in exchange for hostages.
