Israel-Hamas cease-fire negotiations hit critical stage

Celebrations in the streets of Gaza turned to panic on Monday. Hamas announced it had accepted a cease-fire proposal brokered by Egypt and Qatar. Hours later, Israel launched a series of strikes on the city of Rafah, but there is still hope a cease-fire deal can be reached.
