House GOP meets behind closed doors to agree on new speaker
House Republicans are holding a series of closed-door meetings Monday and Tuesday to agree on a new Speaker of the House. The GOP is hoping to avoid a repeat of January, when it took 15 votes to elect Kevin McCarthy, who was ousted last week.
