ust as the trial for the father of the accused Highland Park shooter was set to begin on Monday, prosecutors announced they had reached a plea agreement that would see him sentenced to 60 days in jail and 2 years probation, in part for signing his son's application for a Firearm Owner's Identification card to buy a gun in 2019.
